Especially during sleep, when the sense of smell is not active, smoke alarms with their loud acoustic signal warn against fire and especially the dangerous smoke that develops.
The new, mains-independent Busch Smoke Alarm, serves for detecting smouldering fires at an early stage as well as open fires and smoke development in the interior; two photodiodes are mounted such that no reflection occurs under normal conditions. If smoke particles accumulate in a certain concentration inside the housing, a reflection is produced and the device is actuated. Optically - via an LED - and acoustically - via an audible signal 85 dB (A) - the lifesaving alarm goes off.
It is possible to network devices and connect them to the engineering system in the building.
